Property Inspection Tips for Sellers
Please
give our sales consultant as much freedom on the property as
possible. If you can resist the temptation to assist him/her to
show your home, unless specifically requested, this will allow
the salesperson to demonstrate all the features of your home.
Have
the TV turned off.
Have
a radio playing softly if it’s on.
Store
away any valuables, loose clothing, newspapers, dishes, etc.
Ensure that all cabinets/cupboards and benches are uncluttered
and displayed to their best advantage.
Endeavour
to have children occupied with some quiet activities during
inspections.
Ensure
that curtains and blinds are open, sunlight is very important.
Having to turn on lights may lead to the perception of a very
dark home.
Try
to avoid cooking prior to any inspection as much as possible.
Consider taking
“Fido” for a run in the park.
